Went out with Due South Custom Charters again.  Had a great time.  Dove the Pete Tide II first.  Nice intact shipwreck.  Plenty of tropicals on it.  Not much in the ways of shooting fish were seen.  Made a second dive on a wreck called the San Pablo or better known as the Russian Freighter.  This wreck has been down for a long time.  The boilers are the largest piece still intact.  Here we found some red snapper and nice grouper, but as soon as the first fish was shot, a curious shark of at least 8 feet showed up and wasn't real shy.  I can tell you he was definitely in spear range.  Half of the group thinks it was a bull shark, but I saw it up and close and I don't think so.  Leaning more towards a large reef shark.  Anyways, that was that for the shooting expedition, but we still had fun.  Snapper season is still closed, but you don't have to go far to get into AJ's in Pensacola and some nice grouper too.  Give Captain Dalton a call and your sure to have a good time.
