Well, finished up my DM course and finally got my card. I start work for real Monday week working Discover Scuba courses for my internship to teach those independantly and we have Advanced and open water classes starting in Jan., so it will be a busy time. Then later in the month, off to Little Rock for my EFR/CPR/AED instructors course. I'm suppose to go somewhere in March for the Underwater Digital Photography instructor course. I had planned on going to Vero Beach and do my IDC with EASE in June but my mom is going to require knee replacement surgery and I will have to go to Memphis and stay with her while she recuperates.
Anyway, just got back from a cruise over the Christmas holiday. Left New Orleans on the Golden Princess on the 23rd and cruised to Montego Bay, Jamaica. I wasn't able to dive there but did go to Margaritaville. The 27th, did 2 dives in the Cayman's with Don Foster's and they were ok but not as good as Cozumel. Did a 3 tank dive with Aquaworld and like Mwhities did the San Francisco wall, Chankanaab, and Paradise Reef. Saw a 7 foot Moray at Paradise. Lots of fish, lots of small morays, barracuda etc. Great dives all three.
I've got 6 slots left on the Juliet the second week of October. Once they are filled, we have the third week booked also. I'll be aboard both weeks. If anyone is interested, email me at
donwray@scubaboard.com and I'll give you the details. That is the experience of a life time for divers. 20 dives in 6 days, including 4 night dives, all nitrox if you want. Check it out at
www.sailjuliet.com He is completely booked in 2007 and we have some of the few slots left that I know of.
