Guys, this will probably be the only trip this year this far from home that I will be able to take.  So, join me at this excellent party!

Friday night is usually our first dive of the weekend, after dinner at Sally's restaurant.  At the dinner you will get to meet MANY of the people that will attend Springfest, I have a feeling we will pack the place this year!

Saturday night will be a HUGE free for all BBQ, please bring some meat, but feel free to take some of everyone elses!  Last year someone was cooking quail wrapped in bacon, YUM!  There will be alcohol beverages for all to try, we still ask that you bring something, whether you drink or not.

Vortex has a huge camping ground, so the vast majority of visitors will be camping.  Each night there will be a campfire with many attendees.  Last year we had someone playing acoustic guitar!  We can't forget the crazy chick that fought with the cops can we?

It's a cheap weekend of fun and socializing between yourself and MANY divers from around the southern US. 

I hope to see you MSscuba folks there!

We ate at Sally's last month.  Apparently they were under new management cause the food sucked and it looked like teen night at the Rocky Horror Picture Show.  Two thumbs down but they are still open.

at this point, I don't know yet.... i've been jobless for the last month and a half, so it's all I can do to keep from selling all my gear!

(i'm working NOW, but it's not paying very much)

I will be back from Singapore and Thailand on 21 April. I would like to come down for this. No promises but I will try. Have to go tohouston for a week starting 27th so I may be able to swing a couple days in there.....
