Scuba News at Catalina Island

This was a story from the Los Angeles Times - 
"Cinde MacGugan, 36, a store manager at Catalina Diver Supply, led a group of team members who sliced off roughly 200 square yards of netting within 30 minutes."

I sure hope they are using some sort of communication on hauling those nets up.  It would be a shame to be doing a good deed and get killed.  And at that depth with zero vis, I am not so sure a single tank is such a wise decision.  Just speaking from experience, true zero visibility can get someone hurt quick.  .....................Just my two cents worth
