Kinda Quit around here!!! Anyone have any dive plans for Feb??

I want to get wet!! Maybe take my boat out when I get home. Ill be home from Jan 27th Till Feb 10th. If the seas cooperate want to go out to the triple rigs......60 deg water shouldnt be too bad, lol

I have plans to do a "polar bear" dive on the 8th in Destin, FL... problem is, the wetsuit that I'm wanting to buy won't be available again til March! So i'd have to buy a shorty to go under my old wetsuit to keep me somewhat warm. Don't know how "warm" that's gonna keep me.

Matt will tell you how cold it was last year when we did the "polar bear" dive in 3mm suits! And he didn't even have his gloves!! AND he broke his camera! Poor bastard... lol

I recently purchased a henderson 5 mil suit 3 mil gloves and boots, havent gotten the hood yet. Supposed I need that Also have to get weights and a signal device........someday

Polar bear dive ! Kristi and I are in.  We went to Vortex last weekend, bit cold.  Weekend before in Pensacola to try out hoods and new gear.  Really coold! I think we are gonna try and get those shorties before the polar dive too.

You'd be amazed how much just a 2mm shorty under a 3 to 5 mil suit will help.  Me, if I go will be in my 7 6 5, LOL!!! I've been in 45 degree water and never got cold in that suit.  If you want a warm suit, check out the Xcel 765 Semi-dry.  Of course you have to wear 2 1/2 tons of lead, LOL!!!  And its not too cumbersome.  Lifetime seam warranty too.  And it comes in Navy Seal all BLACK, LOL!!!! 

Corey, I am in for sure if schedules align and I have got a couple others who'd be more than happy to share gas.  Let me know.

 I am sure we can get in alignment with the time man. Dad and I plan to go down and spend a few days on the boat since I cant tow it and my camper, lmao. Prolly put it in the water and just camp on the boat....Have to come in and shower, but besides that we'll be fishing and hopefully diving. Should be no problem coming to pick up some passengers. I have room right now for 6 tanks  in the cabin, but havent purchased any other roll control for tanks.
