Hey I live in Philadelphia and have been diving since 1997 and teaching sense 2000.  I have around 1200 dives to date.  I dive almost every weekend either in Florida, Pelham, or some local mud hole.

Pierce,

Welcome to MSscuba. As you can tell, we are just starting out. So, thanks for joining.

How did you find us? We are curious so we will know more on how to advertise.

Welcome again and hope to meet you sometime.

Hey Pierce,

thats awesome that you get to dive every weekend. i got certified in '97 as well but i only have about 30 dives. i need to start making some trips even if they are just a local mud hole. where do you go in MS?

I would be interested in doing some local mud hole dives, just to get some experience under my belt.

If you ever want some company I'm sure you can snag a few folks for here Smiley

I found you guys on scubaboard.  I dive with alot of people from there and have made alot of good friends from there as well.

I dive up at lake Tiak' O'Khatain Louisville pretty often.  The viz can ba anywhere from 2' to 20' it has a real silty bottom so it makes a good place to practice bouyancy control. It also is great for navigation, and search and recovery.

Sweet, I work for a telephone company that offers service in Louisville, you've probably heard of it (maybe not), Dixie-net.

Anyway,  What agency do you teach for?  Or do you teach specialty diving?  I'm always interested in learning new things.

What are your prices?  Post them and maybe once the site gets going you will get some business out of it? Smiley

Mike and I are SSI, so I'm guessing if we wanted to go nitrox and advanced OW we would need to do that through SSI?!?

No you don't have to do them all through SSI.  You can do  AOW and/or Nitrox through PADI your SSI certifications will cross over and enable you to do it through PADI.  Send me a PM if your interested.
