Missing divers rescued after 5 hours adrift

But what concerns me the most is this statement - "All the divers are safe. They were found near the spot where they went missing."

  Excuse me How is that possible? What did they do, drift off then the currents changed to bring them back?

How do you make sense of that? Maybe I'm just confused...
