My husband, Tommy and I, did our first "Official" dives this weekend. We got certified last weekend and decided to go with some friends of ours this weekend. I really enjoyed it. Saw tons of bait fish at the Miss Louise tug wreck and a large sea cucumber. Also, got some great pics of big Moon Jellies and an oyster fish. We really enjoyed our dive and can't wait to go somewhere again soon...hopefully in a couple of weeks!!
I welcome any ideas of places relatively close to the coast as we have 3 kids we have to get babysitters for (until they get old enough to dive with us).

Congrads! I remember my first "no instructor dive". T'was a good feeling. Only it was short as my SAC rate really stunk. Smiley

Welcome to MS Scuba a well. I'm glad to see more and more people joining.

Enjoy your stay.

Thank you. Glad to be on the site...it'll take me a while to learn my way around the site, but I look forward to exploring it.

Most problems in diving originate with ourselves.

hey Kristi, did that barracuda hang out with y'all too?

I thought it was just a little too interested in me, so I kept my computer in front of my face while holding onto my knife too! LoL. Was I nervous? You bet!

You know, Tommy saw the barracuda and he pointed to it, but I never saw it...imagine that!! All I could see in the direction he pointed was the guy in front of me's white fin. Maybe that fin was an angel so I didn't see it. However, I think everyone else on the boat saw it.
Sorry,
I missed it Sad
