It was perfect weather for diving. that's about all. The boat was FULL, and if any of y'all have dived with Scuba Tech on the Sea Cobra, you already know how crowded it can get. A good many of us were standing.
Our first dive was a small reef about 30 minutes out for all of us more 'experienced' divers (there were 4 students, they sat this one out). The only descriptive of this reef that I know, is that there was a toilet bowl on the ledge. Nothing much exciting about this reef, except all the fish. I wished I had a speargun! Lot of big jellies. Viz was about 35 feet. Temp was 82 degrees. Next dive was the Miss Louise tug. Even more jellies on this dive, and 1,000's of little fishies. Viz would have been better had it not been for all the fish. I think someone might have stolen the Urn, anybody know about that?
Most exciting thing about second dive was that I saw a shovel-nose lobster (correct name?), and a huge barracuda hung out with me on my safety stop. Oh, and I dove solo on both dives ;-) and no, Michael, no I do not have Solo cert!! LoL.
Overall, had a great time and topped it off by having lunch at our usual spot - McGuire's Irish Pub!
