One of our own, Rebelrph, completed his rescue class and has knocked out most of the practical for his Divemaster. Another few weeks and we'll have a new DM on board. His skills are fantastic and his demeanor with students fantastic. Kudos mia amigo

Awesome! Rescue is one of the funnest courses I've taken. I'm wanting to start my DM but do not want to go with SSI.
Pierce is my usual instructor and he's pretty busy these days.

I met Pierce last week end at ABWA. Very nice guy and like you said, very busy. That's the time to do your DM though as there are alot of requirements for dealing with students in all phases of instruction.

Thanks for the great comments Don! Must be that great instructor I have! Frank you need to go ahead and take the DM plunge. I've really enjoyed the material and working with students and hopefully helping them understand what a great sport they're getting into. I"m tentatively planning (or at least thinking about planning ) to go on to instructor level in Feb. '09 - Depends on work schedule... That's the ultimate goal regardless of timing. However, I have figured out I'm not getting any younger!
