[MSUnderwaterDivers]

Hi everyone I'm Matthew Lomas from Hattiesburg.  I don't know if anyone here knew Bill Johnston owner/instructor of Mississippi Underwater Divers but  last year Bill went on to the great reef in the sky.  Or well maybe somewhere with warmer waters knowing Bill.  Recently Myself and Bill's DiveMaster Kristi Motter inherited the shop so to speak.  We are currently getting it back operational but do not have facilities at this time.  Kristi is working on getting her instructor qualification and I'm working on Dive Master.  I will be following with instructor after gaining some experience with classes with Kristi.  

Anyway in the interim while everything is still in Limbo I'm trying to meet our local MS divers and get some diving in.  Looking forward to diving with ya'll.

By the way this site is very well put together.  Good Job.

Hey Matthew,

Thanks for diving in!  I didn't know him, but I'm sure he was one hell of a guy!  It's good to see your keeping his legacy going.  

Good luck to both of you on the new adventure of running a shop (even though you don't have a home as of yet), and on going after your instructor status!

We decided to start this site just because there were no other sites dedicated to Mississippi divers.  I'm glad you like it, just tell your friends and their friends about us.
