Finally got my gear
« on: June 06, 2008, 07:55:35 AM »
From the good folks at Deep South Scuba.

I walked out with my BC and a bag, my comp and reg will be in later.

Now if I can get a camera and the little stuff I will be set.

Very cool. Enjoy your gear. DSS sells great gear.

  • Every dive is optional. Every ascent is mandatory.

Sounds almost identicle to the gear I got from DSS. You're gonna like that BC.

Before I switched over to all ScubaPro, I had an Oceanic Probe BC. ScubaDoWop is right, I think you'll like it. My Probe fit me very well.

  • Most problems in diving originate with ourselves.

ALL ScubaPro?

according to your 'signature' you wear a BodyGlove wetsuit and Tusa fins... is this true?

i've got all ScubaPro (except BC, regs, comp, and snorkel...)

Well, primary stuff anyways. I've always preferred TUSA fins and our shop carries them. And I've always used Body Glove wetsuits, so I can't bring myself to give mine up even though our shop does not sell them. But I do have a ScubaPro shorty and thermal skin. Does that count? ;D

Like the old commercial, "Try it! You'll like it!"

I prefer the GlidePlus over the ClassicPlus solely for the adjustable shoulder straps (not to mention it is about $160 cheaper!).  I've yet to try a back-inflation BC, so I don't know how the KnightHawk compares.
