Cozumel in October.
« on: May 12, 2008, 01:17:39 PM »
Anyone else gong to be there?

My family and I are booked and waiting for the day to get here. My wife's sister's family is going as well. My brother-in-law is a diver too. We'll be diving through Dive Paradise.

Hopefully someone from here will be there too. :)

Michael--
Are you cruising there or flying or what?  I've been itching to take another cruise to Cozumel out of Mobile--pretty cheap that time of year.  Let me know your dates--I might could be talked into it!

staying at Fiesta Americana? Isn't that where Diver Paradise operates from? I was there in August for our 25th anniversary and stayed in a condo within site of FA. Dove with Aldora Divers, they use 120 steel tanks always over 1hr BT. Record for that trip was 1:34. Small boats, small groups and they try to group those with similar skill/experience levels to everyone can dive longer and more enjoyable.
Do you go to Coz very often? We try to go once a year - not sure about this one due to previous australia trip and having to work for a living!! My wife is ready at anytime. "go' is her middle name...

Actually we are staying at Hotel Cozumel. I've heard good things about Aldora Divers. I think we are going to book through Dive Paradise though. I'd really like to get on with BlueXTSea but, not sure if that's going to be an option.

We try to go on a trip (cruise/AI) at least twice a year. Sometimes more, sometimes less. All depends. :)

Hopefully we can meet up in Cozumel sometime.

I'll only get 12 dives in (roughly). And you will still have more dives than what I do. :| (At 6.00 a tank, we can do some shore dives.) I might sneak a few in. I know Neal might do a few. If he doesn't, hopefully I can find another diver there.

His son Adam might be taking the Ranger Scuba course next month and Nicki (Rick's daughter) might take OW so they can dive while in Cozumel. We'll do the shore dives during the day next to the dock so the kids can get some experience. He says right near the end of the pier, it's about 30fsw. So it'd be prefect to jump into.

That's the obvious people. (All you listed always goes with us. :P)

We need more divers. Was two, now there will be three!

My nephew is doing his confined pool dives this weekend and the 27th/28th check out dives at Pelham. (I'm trying to get to go then too.)
