Got to PCDC at about 10:30am, got on the boat about noon:something. The captain couldn't make up his mind where we would dive first, so we went to one place first (have no idea where that was) then headed to the Bridge Span. It's about a 25 min boat ride from Captain Anderson's harbor.
Everybody on the boat was mostly OW students, I was only there for the scenery and dives

(it has been 5 or 6 years since the last time I was on a dive boat, and THAT was a dingy with only my then-wife, myself, instructor, DM, and a Cuban for a captain (he definitely knew how to steer that boat LOL)
Anyways, saw alot of porpoises on the way, then down we went to the bridge span, saw a huge 300lb grouper, others saw a sting ray! It was interesting, but next time I go there again - i'll be a spearo.
Next, we headed to the Black Bart. Anchored, and down we went. My buddy and I descended on the port side, made our way to the bow, then to starboard side. We kept descending to about 80fsw where I ran up on top of a sting ray! Later, my buddy told me the one we saw made the first one at the Bridge Span look like a baby! WOW. I can only imagine. That thing had to have been at least ten feet long, with a 5ft wingspan!! Well, I let him continue sleeping, as I didn't want to end up like ole Steve Irwin. We made our way back around to the stern and then along port side again. Ascended to the deck then to the wheelhouse, ringing the bell passing by, tried to shake Bart's hand, but it fell off. Swam up the stairs, then a quick swim thru the wheelhouse. It was cool.
Water was nice. Surface temp was about 72, minimum temp was 68. Not bad. One dude lost his weightbelt and had to be gone after by the deckhand. We thought we had lost him, but he was fine. It just took him a little longer than he thought to find his weightbelt.
I'd dive the Black Bart again.
