Oriskany Trip.
« on: January 31, 2008, 08:50:04 PM »
I've been watching videos on youtube.com about the Oriskany. I REALLY want to dive it now. http://www.youtube.com/v/qg9ylYtTf4g video really makes me want to dive the Oriskany. I know Frank has dove it once and I'm not sure about anyone else but, I know there are a few that want to.

What month this Summer would you all like to go? I know I can get a good bigger boat to go out on that will carry 6 to 8 people. I know another one we can take (2 boats) and that'd be 12 people.

So I need to know who all is interested and what month this Summer will work for you. The faster I know this, the faster I can make sure whatever boats we need, we will get.

I've dove the Oriskany on two different occasions. It's great. When we dove it in December it was covered in barracuda. Anytime after May is good for me, but I'm flexible. Count me in.

 • Most problems in diving originate with ourselves.

I'm planned for sometime in April.

Two dives on the O early in the AM and 2-3 more dives on the way back in. Cost of gas is the trip cost.

Gotta love friends with boats with a sense of adventure! :o
