Got water?

Well, after a LONG weekend of shore dives, we finally made it home last night (Sunday) at about 8:30pm, after cleaning my wifes truck I got home about 10:00pm.

Navarra Pier
---------------
There's a fallen peir after one of the hurricanes rolled through, we decided to dive this Saturday morning at 8:30am, we got in the water at about 9:00am.

The vis ranged from 10' to 20' the deeper we got out.  Mat (suprbugman) on SB, said that at the end of the pier it reached up to 25' vis, but, my little group never made it that far.

Even though the vis was 10-20', the sea grass really made it hard to see things on the bottom, we did we alot of flounder but that was about it on this dive.

Alabama Jetties
-------------------
Vis here never reach more tha 10', the high tide was supposed to be at 2:30pm, but it felt like it was going out when we got in, it was very apparent that it was when we turned around and started heading back!  I ended up with a 77 minute dive and came up at 300psi, ended up having to swim about 500 yards to get back to shore.

Overall not a bad experience, saw ALOT ALOT ALOT of hermit crabs, but that's about it.

Whiskey Wreck
-------------------
Vis was about 10' on this, water temp was 85 degrees.  Max depth was 17 feet.

Nice dive, 77 minute dive, saw many schools of fish, saw many colorful fish as well.  I would love to do this one again.

Pensacola Pier
--------------------
Vis was 15-25' depending on where we were, there was ALOT of sea grass on the bottom at this dive, and depending on how the current was pushing, the seagrass would either be on top of us, or on top of everything else.

Saw about 10 different types of fish, picked up a bag full of trash (Michael did but I'll take credit).

On the way in, I found a sand dollar about the size of my hand, oh was the wife happy!

That about sums it up.

I am the one that did pick up as much trash as Frank's lil grab bag would allow. I give him a little bit of credit. Wink
