Shore Dive in Gulf Shores?
« on: July 27, 2007, 09:27:53 PM »
I've read about a shore dive in Gulf Shores that is bout 100yards off the beach on a wreck.  It is behind some type of resturant.  Anybody been there?  Sounds like it could be a good overnight trip for not much $$.

It's called the Whiskey Wreck. Get right behind Bahama Bobs sign and swim out about 150 - 200 yards and iun 15 - 16 fsw, you will find the wreck.

The black stuff between the two white clouds looks like it could be the wreck.

  • Every dive is optional. Every ascent is mandatory.

It's a nice little wreck, you tend to have to stay away from it a little bit because the surge generally wants to push you into it, but it's a nice shallow wreck.
