Diving Gulfshores

Its looking like I will be down there for a weekend in September to do some beach dives.

Can anyone recomend a good hotel to stay at? a dive shop to rent gear from?

Anything else I should know about?

Not that my advice was asked for ;D....but IMO forget diving Gulf Shores and go the extra distance to Pensacola book with Dr. Dive and enjoy yourself. ;D

I would have to agree with Mule Feathers on this one... not sure about Dr Dive, but Pensacola is the place to go diving.  Shore or boat.
