Easy post cert dive?

I got certified last summer (havent brought a picture by to get my card though) and wanted to dive at least once this year. Freshwater/quarry sounds cool.

Recomendations?

Alabama Blue Water in Pelham AL. That's where Frank and I did our check out dives.. Other than that, a short trip to Florida for the fresh water springs.... pack a long suit.

When did you complete your course?  You may want to check with your instructor before you plan on diving.  Most temp cards are only valid for 90 days and a one year time limit to submit your information for your cert card.

i think it was August/September last year. It was one of the last courses of the year.

I will try to go by there this week. I still havent got a picture.

You should be ok, IF, your instructor, and I'm going by PADI rules, went ahead and sent your PIC to PADI within the 7 days.  All you would have to do is send them your photo and, the cost of a replacement card ($25).  I'm unsure as to how the other agencies handle this.
