Easy Diver's Memphis whom I DM with carried a large group to Cerulean Springs in Cadiz Kentucky just across the stateline from Nashville, the weekend of May 27 and 28.  It was my first trip to this quarry and I was pleasantly surprised.  This quarry is really set up for new divers.  Max depth was around 30 feet but lots of things to see; a couple of boats, trucks, cars and basements from it's quarry days.  The have detailed nav maps at the office and ropes lead from one site to the other for those navigationally challenged.  Plus it's only 16 acres so you aren't going to get lost.  Catfish, bass and bluegill are everywhere and viz was pretty good early but goes down as the classes progress.  The fee is $20 a day and airfills are quick and onsite for $5.  They also allow camping on site so you can save money there.  Water temps in the middle 70's as Dave pumps water from the bottom to circulate it and warm it up.  Nice site and very relaxing diving.
