From what I can find, there aren't any spear fishing records in Mississippi. I am talking with some clubs and councils in Louisana that handle it for their state. Would any of you all be interested in founding a council with me to establish spear fishing records for Mississippi. So far, from what I can gather, rules will need to be established as in fishing records (getting other councils to review) and then actually organizing the council and becoming recognized. If anyone would like to help or join, feel free to contact me. What I am thinking will happen is organizing is going to cost a decent amount of money so we can set dues to cover the cost of establishment for the organization.
Any ideas?
