First of all, welcome to the board! Right now the board isn't very active because it's a new board, but we're hoping it will take off like a rocket!
Now, on to your request for info!
We're leaving for Key Largo, FL on Friday, May 25th, at around 7am in the morning and coming back home on Monday, May 28th. Right now, we have 10 people going, I believe we're taking 2 vehicles right now, but they are full (I believe).
You're welcome to fly or drive if you want, Delta now flies to Marathon, FL, which is right outside of the Keys.
We have an awesome deal on 2 condos, each condo sleeps 10 people and the price will be somewhere between $50-$65 total for the room per person. One condo will be dedicated to the guys, the other, to the girls, with the exception of a guy named Brandy that will be in a room with his daughter (in the female room). Which, I'm sure if needed, he could stay in the guy condo as well
The dives right now are looking to be $50-$65 per trip. Each trip is a 2 tank dive. Right now we're looking to do 2 trips on Saturday, and 2 trips on Sunday. The 3rd or 4th trip, will be with Cristal Clear Charters, and if your a scubaboard.com member, you get that dive free. Tanks are not included in the dive price however, I believe they are $7.50 - air and $12 - nitrox.
So your looking at travel, ~$150+tanks for the dive trips, and $50-65 for lodging! If your interested in doing night dives, I'm sure I can arrange that with the dive shop also.
Let me know if your interested! This trip is being put together by a dive club called Dixie Divers. It consists of Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Florida, South Caroline, and Tennessee.
