Windows 7

I just upgraded from Vista to Windows 7.  I did not activate all the security stuff in it, and it seems to me to be very stable.  Glad I switched.

I have two copies that I haven't used yet.  Anyone want to buy a copy?  It's Windows 7 Professional - Full version - 32bit and 64bit on the same DVD.  I've posted it on Craigslist for $265, I'll let anyone that wants it here have it for less if your interested.

What did you pay for yours Don?

I got it for Christmas from my son, so I'm not sure what he paid for it.  Mine's the Ultimate version.

This whole Vista to Windows 7 reminded me of the old WinME to Win2k public beta test.

While I hate Vista with the fiery passion of the sun, Windows 7 is growing on me.  Although, I don't use it personally (yet) when I have to work on one it is a much more pleasant experience.

What is it about Vista that people hate?  I personally hated it, until I used it  ;)

I find it runs as fast as XP and has a few extra features that are beneficial to me.  I do have a new laptop with Windows 7 on it and I've got to say, I was going to dual boot Windows and Linux but there is no need since Windows 7 basically ripped off the look of Xwindows (*nix version of Windows).
