Hi! I'm Tammy. I don't dive but my husband frankc420 does. He's trying to get me to try it, but I don't think...I know he won't be successful.

Oh what little faith she has!  Put $$ on it that next time we go on vacation and she's snorkeling... and I'm under her.. she'll want to try it =)

Hi Tammy.  Take your time, enjoy snorkeling.  When YOU decide your ready to give it a shot, you'll love it.  I've had students who had peer pressure to start diving because their spouses or intended spouses were divers, and didn't really want to do it.  Most never complete the pool sessions.  You decide when you're ready and then you'll do fine.  Until then, have fun snorkeling and looking at the pretty fishes.

I do too.  Mine won't take a shower if it gets her hair wet but luckily, she's been married to a cop for 33 years and don't give me any grief when I book out for a week or so at a time.

Ohh, BTW, Hey Tammy! Welcome to SB. ;)

Now you, Frank and Brady need to start saving up and go on a trip with Lesa, LilB and myself. We can get the family to watch the little ones, you, Lesa, Sandy, Ms. Aunt Debbie, Adam, Sarah, and others can go snorkeling and Frank, Neal and I can go diving. I'm sure we all could do that with no problem.

Chances are she'll never come to the forum again.  LOL

She asked what I was doing and I said, "chatting with donwray on the msscuba website!"  She wanted to join in... atleast I think that's how it went down...

I just did my income taxes for federal... looks like we're getting a real nice return!  I love my son!  ... and wife =)

This is the exact scenario I am currently in....  I basically peer pressured my wife to start diving....  She didn't make it thru the pool sessions.  She loves to snorkel.  She just wasn't ready for scuba.  She says that she definitely will do it....Just on her schedule.....
